New Buck Offering?

Was watching YouTube last night and although admittedly half asleep, thought I saw an interview with a Buck product manager discussing their new Heritage line of the 110 and 112 models.

They are a slim wood handle version with nail nick, no pocket clip and using magna cut blade steel.

Looking again this morning I can't find the video again or any reference to them being sold online.

Has anyone else heard of them?

Yep, that's the one. Watching it again see I was mistaken that it does come with a pocket clip.

Thanks

Here a couple of screenshots from the video comparing the standard 110 to the new Slim Heritage 110 for anybody who might not want to watch the video.

I’m a fan of the 112 which is also offered in the Slim Heritage design. When I first saw them, I thought for sure I would be getting one but then I realized that one of the best things about the 112 is the in hand feel. For me anyway.

I’m going to have to handle a 112 Slim Heritage before I buy one. It might be TOO thin for me.

I really like the idea so I thinned down one I had. I ordered a pocket clip but I haven't received it yet. Mine is just plain old 420HC but I don't mind sharpening my knives plus it only cost me $65.00 and the price of a pocket clip. It's probably not a practical solution for most people though .

Nice work, Gene! How do you like the in hand feel of your slimmed down 112?

Very interested in your feedback.

Good to see you posting again. I have admired your knives from afar for a decade or so.

It still has some weight to it so it really feels better than I thought it would in the hand. I really don't care for the light weight versions of the 112 or the 110 because, to me anyway, the weight is what makes them feel so good in the hand. I think it will be light enough to carry comfortably with a pocket clip but still heavy enough to have that weighty feel in the hand. I will make a post when I get the clip on it and try it out. Thanks a lot!

Changing the subject a bit  , I just saw a reference on MSM news about a 'Stealth' version of the 110. Automatic opener, Magnacut steel spear shaped blade with 'marblized' material covers. I looked around but have not yet seen more details.
