All About Pocket Knives

Recently bought this knife in NOS condition. 14 cm in length D stamped liner with horn handles stamped rostfrie. Was told it was made by Oreste Dibon but dont know when it was made. Not sure if it was during the contract with "metal god" in 2005 or before. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I remember the old blade auction days around 2000-2005 and knives with this stamp were being sold as Oreste DiBon knives. One guy’s said that SKM was also making them with this stamp. But was Oreste making them for SKM.

Bernie may know but he’s still having issues logging in.

As far as I'm aware, the knives Oreste Di Bon made for Bernie, had red dot safeties. Except those picklocks that Oreste made using his old Mauro Mario stamp. Oreste made knives right up until his sad passing in 2011 at 82 years old. But, he made his specialty 4.5", 5.5" and 6.25" knives for other distributors as well. Kenrab's certainly appears to be one of Oreste Di Bon's.
