Hooks are cool. I worked for an old farmer 50 years ago who used a hook baling hay. And of course the meat packing houses used hooks alot. Ive had a couple and used them now and them. But that box wouldnt have escaped me years ago when I bought every damned wooden box I came across!. Sold em all the an auction one time and lost my azz money wise.

Nice hook, nice collection of books and a very charming writing/students desk.

I'm afraid I used one of the hooks without the hand guard (I don't need no stinkin' hand guard) for several very hot, Kansas days, when I was quite young.

The books are my wife's. She loves Western history. And the desk was given to me before I started to school. Thanks.
