Hello knife people,
The model # script 043X163 on my 2010 Railsplitter Whittler is in block letters, different from the rest of the patterns. Has anyone noticed this on their sets? Possible counterfeit? Thank you for your time.

Show pictures if you could. When did you purchase the knife?
From 2019 and after, once the bankruptcy auction of the Queen factory, there have been a lot of counterfeits out there from all the leftover pieces.

I guess the word "counterfeit" is not accurate. Technically all the parts were factory made. But it would be more accurate to say that the finished assembled knives never left the factory. People who bought items at the auction, and then sold that stuff on Facebook Marketplace, and then all of a sudden extra knives from 1985 started appearing with handles or blade combinations nobody had saw before. I was at the auction, and saw how things were sold.
"Here we have a box of 2000 random knife blades and springs, who wants it for $100?. OK now we have a box of random brass liners, who wants it for $100?"

And quite a few were put together by people who once worked at Queen. Up until 6-7 years ago a guy was still working on them. Carls grampa Bob knew who they were. I forget the name?? carl, you might remeber, I think the guy got tired of so many people coming around and fenced his place off???

On closer inspection, I am being a little too attentive. The set was purchased together from Clarence. It's fine. Thank you for the help.
