Old Camp Knife Info

I have had this knife most of my life and I can't remember exactly where it came from. Think an uncle gave it to me and it looks exactly now as it did when I got it. Never used it and it has been misplaced until I found it again recently. Damn thing is still razor sharp. There is only one stamp on it but figured someone may recognize it. Thank you much for any info.

Yes the US stamp is all that I have found on the knife. I thought about the handles being replaced but I am not so sure they have. I'll keep digging around, thank you for the reply.

My apologies, I think you are correct on the cover replacement. This pic, the knife of the left, seems to match what I have and it looks like it is a Camillus.
