This month SafdE26 (Jack) has donated a very special Alabama Damascus Fixed Blade with an Amber Carved Stag Bone Handle that he handcrafted! This beautiful knife is fresh off Jack’s workbench and is 6.25” in length with a 2.5” blade and nickel silver bolsters/pins. This knife will come with a sheath & pouch and a lifetime warranty.

Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 999.

You will have until December 31st (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number, after which entries will not be considered. The Illinois State Lottery evening pick-three drawing will determine the winner on December 31st. The individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

To be eligible to participate, you must be 18 years of age and either (a) have made at least 100 total forum posts at the time of entering the monthly giveaway or (b) have previously donated successfully to at least one prior monthly knife giveaway.

That is a beautiful knife. I am new and this is first post to start on the minimum 100 post entry criteria. I am no expert but have had many knives since I was a boy and I wish I had kept them all. I am slightly older now at 65 and when I look for knives now that are mass sold it is just disappointing to see the junk. Recently an old Barlow YouTube video lead me here and I am very happy. I cannot drive around looking to find old gems so this is perfect. When I watched the video it was because the thumbnail showed an old Barlow that I remember from boyhood. It was an instant wonderful memory and started me thinking about all the other well made knives I had made in the 1960's and 70's. I am grateful to have found this site and look forward to making a purchase or two down the road. Being retired I have to watch the pennies.
