I do not know of any published or documented information that would help date Robeson fixed blade knives.

Pre-WWII hunting, bird or trout knives have to be evaluated solely on appearance and the overall American hunting/ sheath knife production.

WWII issue knives are well documented in Mike Silvey’s , Bill Walter’s or M.H.Cole’s books.

The knife in the post is German, most likely imported during the 50’s and/or early 60’s. Kitchen knives that were German imports, were sold as “Robeson Continental Cutlery”.

I can't make out the second line of the stamp. What does it say under ROBESON?

Charlie read the knife not the stamp. He's fluent in Robeson.
