Blue Bird pop had an advertisement for sending in 29 bottle caps and 89 cents to get a Keen Kutter scout knife. Its taken me a few years to get it all together. I thought it will make a nice display,

I've never heard of Blue Bird Pop before.

There were a lot of those bottle cap, box top, etc redemption offers when I was growing up. I once saved cereal box tops (Cheerios?) and sent off for a Lone Ranger mask and silver bullet. You got a much nicer knife! BTW I never heard of Blue Bird brand soda pop either. Must have been a regional brand.

I don’t think I will acquire 29 of the bottle caps. They want $5.00 and up for 1 cap.

I have another blue Bird keen kutter poster that states they were made by Winchester Simmons Co. Which would date them between 1920 to 1929.
