This is a 1993 does anyone have value i cant seem to find it with curry cats on blade

Thats a very hard question, it might be worth a premium to a big Ky football fan, l wouldn't know. Personally it's a fine looking Case trapper with blades I don't care for so I wouldn't be interested in it, hope I didn't offend you.

For ballpark value just look at eBay sold listings for any 1990s Case commemorative stag trapper. The values don’t change much if any regardless what etch is on the blades, nor whatever event is commemorated. Unless you’re somehow affiliated with the event being commemorated, to everyone else it’s just another knife. In fact unless you’re affiliated with it the value is possibly decreased. (Who else but a Kentucky fan would even want it)?

Well i can find several similar but not exact this one like insay has curry’s cats and no info on web was hoping someone would have some info even google says none exist idk lol

Sorry you can’t find one like it, but at one time (maybe still?) Case would accept and build a minimum order of 100 knives, and put just about anything not illegal or immoral on it. (Some 3rd party knife embellisher/sellers are not as scrupulous). A search of the web site knifedb.com for Case 5254 pattern trappers from 1990-1994 finds dozens of examples of different stag trappers commemorating everything from U of Alabama, U of Tennessee, various knife clubs, sheriff’s associations, businesses, the Gulf War, and so on. My search didn’t find any others etched like yours.

In summary the knife may be 1 of as few as 100 having that same etch, so from that standpoint most would consider it relatively rare. However it’s 1 of thousands of stag commemorative trappers made around that time, differing only in the blade etch. So in that sense it’s not rare at all. Depends on the eye of the beholder. Even if you can’t find an identical example of your knife, in fact its value will be about the same as other stag trappers from that year, plus or minus a few years. Whether 1990, 1993, 1997, etc doesn’t make much difference. If you’re looking to sell it, try to find a buyer who has a connection to whatever is on the etch. Hopefully that explanation helps.

The curry cats refer to the coach at that time frame, Bill Curry. I doubt there's a big call for these knives.

Historically knives with specialty etched blades bring less money than the same knife with no etch at all on the blade. Still a nice knife, not saying it doesn't have value. I just mean it's probably around 50%-75% of the value of the same knife selling on ebay with plain blades.

I'm a Kentucky fan and I have several of these (mostly basketball themed) from the 90s that I picked up years ago and some have really beautiful Stag on them. Like Carl said, the etching on the blade will typically hurt the value, but when I got mine, I think I paid like $40-$50 a piece for them, which is always a good deal for a Stag Trapper. I've traded a few at Lexington shows for obvious reasons, but they never really seemed to get the people down there as excited as I would have thought since KY fans are usually pretty fanatical and love all things "Kentucky". I have seen this Curry Peach bowl edition once or twice, but not as much as the basketball themed knives. No idea how many were made.
