Real or fake? Browning Japan

Picked this beautiful knife up recently and I’m confused on what I’ve read regarding tang stamps. I don’t want to sell a fake. The only marking is the tang stamp pictured.

Thank you for the info!ThatWeirdKnifeGuy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 26, 2025 1:28 pm Is real. Have seen a few others just like it on the site. In general counterfeiters wouldn't bother with something made in Japan. Don't get me wrong, I love knives made in Japan. Recently people have rediscovered the quality in knives made in Japan, but historically the country of origin has prevented a collectors market from growing. Even if you can sell it for a pretty penny now, its just not on a counterfeiters radar. Good knife btw![]()
Thank you!
