cool, horsemans knife with the old timey sodbuster look. Brass might have contrasted better with the ivory but it's killer either way!

The simplicity and clean lines gives it a look of understated elegance.
I really like it!
Nice job.

Very nice indeed - good clean work with outstanding finish.
I "need" a knife with your rope filework on the blade and spine!

Thank you Diligence and Hukk !
Yes Hukk, the 410 is really nice to work with. The best way I know to describe it is smooth, I don't know if that makes any sense or not, but there is a world of difference between 300 and 400 series.

Filework the Obie

I don't know if it would look right Oupa, the blade may be to thick for it to look right, but I'll check it out this evening.

Yes indeed you will actually notice a difference between 303 and 304 ss. Nice work! Some stainless seems to clog a file like 360 brass.

Well, I am happy to say the owner of the knife is very pleased "absolutley amazing" is what she said when she called this morning. She is heading to a horse show for two weeks and can't wait to pick hooves and cut stuff she said
Hukk, I was shocked at the difference in the Stainless, I bet I looked like this little guy
