Hi There I'm sure it exists here. I'm looking for a link to the best crack fix solution. Is it just super glue, 5 minute epoxy or maybe a resin? I used 5 min epoxy before and it seems like it never really dries. I would love to find something that dries up very hard and clear an would shine if polished sort of like a resin. Just looking for tips. Thank you.

The keyword search function (found under Quicklinks on the above left of this thread) is your friend. Learning how to use it can provide answers to many questions.

For clean cracks in bone that can be pressed back together with no gaps, super glue is the best bet.
If you have to fill a large area a casting polyester or casting epoxy can be dyed to match.

Thank you Bill. It's half crack and half chip. It's a chip around the spring pen but i have the piece. It's my fault. 40-64 bone. I'm so sick with myself
Anyhow, The knife is now apart. It had a broken blade I am replacing. I was going to use casting resin to secure the piece of bone back in filling the pin hole then carefully re-drill the hole before reassembly. I'm leaving the bone on the liners for this process. I was hoping that had the best chance of setting solid. Do you have any thoughts on that approach sir. Thank you in advance.
