knives sold

I'm curious about something. When I look at the various knives for sale, most of them are SOLD. Wouldn't it make sense to remove sold items when they're sold. I can't tell you the times I've seen a picture of a knife that interested me only to see it's sold. It's kind of discouraging.

Because AAPK is used by many folks for research purposes, not just commerce, keeping sold items available for viewing is helpful for questions concerning knife values.

The sold listings here are usually what show up in google images when I’m looking for info on an older knife. Without those listings I may never see a picture of a real pattern or brand of that knife. It would be devastating to researchers to loose the ability to see them.

I have 1 knife in my store that sold in 2017 and since then has been viewed 12,047 times and hopefully assisted someone with identification, authentication or research.

You can use the quick filter to show available items only. Problem solved?

I didn't know there was such a thing, but I will definitely look for it next time.
