All About Pocket Knives

Does anyone know if the Imperial Frontier pattern # 4625 have the powder horn badge? All I've seen is the model that I think was produced in Ireland that is without the powder horn badge. It's a great looking knife but I've been collecting only the powder horn Frontiers. I thought somebody in this forum would surely know. Thanks for any info.

Two blade folding hunter, looks to have been made with hardwood handle material. No idea what kind.

I don’t think any of the double eagle frontier’s with rosewood handle, brass bolsters, stainless blades come with shields. The carbon steel ones I have all have the powder horn sheild, but the stainless ones don’t. These were rumored to be made by Camillus too, but I’ve taken them apart and they use the shrade swinden key construction, so don’t know if that’s true or not. I’ve only been collecting a few years, so I’m certainly no expert. The wooden handle ones without shields that are made in USA, are the same quality as the carbon steel delrin handle ones, only difference being steel and handje material. I just bought the 4625 on eBay, waiting for it to come in the mail.
