I am a reseller and I will profit from your replies so if you don't want to reply I understand.
I bought a lot of leather sheaths at Webster Flea Market last week and they smell.

How do I get rid of the smell?

Thank you!

I’ve had really good luck Scott using baking soda by placing an open box or a bag of baking soda inside a sealed space with the leather sheaths to absorb the odor, or you can gently wipe the leather with a diluted white vinegar solution. I then place the leather sheaths in direct sunlight for a short period. Has worked well for me.

Sorry, Scott, this reminded me of the, "Oh, damp!" commercial. I would try airing them out outside, as long as it's not too humid outside. If there's less humidity indoors, try spreading them out on a table and let a little fan blow over them. Good luck!
