I don’t believe there is a sub forum here for Leatherman. If there is, I can’t find it either.
I like my Leatherman Free T4. I don’t need pliers and the small size is nice. It has a great pocket clip too and all of the tools lock open except the tweezers, of course.

I’ve never seen one of those, kind of a jazzed up SAK.

I also had not seen the small T4 Free Leatherman before Railsplitter posted his. I can see where it fits in. The Wave and Super Tool size Leathermans are only comfortable in a pouch. Since I just found a Victorinox Champion Plus at a swap meet I'm carrying it to see how often it gets used. To find Victorinox's model name I had toread the SAK forum and compare it to knives for sale here. A multitool major sub-forum containing sub-forums for the most popular brands and/or types like SAK would be great!

That’s nice. Do the scissors work ok.

They work very well on paper materials. That’s the only materials I have ever used them on.
I use the scissors mostly to cut the tops off of small bags of snacks that I buy from convenience stores and eat in the car. I use my pocketknives for that also but these scissors are more practical for that.
I like these scissors better than the scissors on my SAK Super Tinker. They both work well but these work better.

My Leatherman Free K4. A little over 4-1/2 inches closed length, 3/4 inches thick. I’ve had it about 5 years now. Even though I carry a large knife it’s a little too thick for front pocket carry to my liking, but a good backpocket carry. I can see where the smaller T4 would be a better front pocket carry.

I have a very small Leatherman Micra that unfolds into a pair of scissors instead of a pair of pliers. It would easily fit in a watch pocket. I think it would give you larger scissors from a smaller multi-tool. I keep a regular pair of scissors in my car's center storage compartment.

Those are both excellent suggestions. I have a Micra around here somewhere with pliers so I am familiar with its size but I didn’t know they made one with scissors in place of the pliers.
My part time job requires me to drive 5 different cars so keeping scissors in the car wouldn’t work for me but I could easily carry scissors in the lunchbox that I take with me. That never even occurred to me.
Thanks for the suggestions.

There are some vintage tool knives featured in the KNIFE LORE forum under the heading VINTAGE TOOL KNIVES AND FOLDING EATING SETS.

There is a Micra that unfolds into scissors in the AAPK store. I have no connection to it or the seller. Its pictures are good.

That is not bad at all for the price. On your Micra, do the scissor blades re-open on their own after each cut? I guess I am asking if they are spring loaded.

I also have these as an option but they would defeat the purpose of a multitool. They are very sharp though.

My Micra scissors spring open after each cut. Its 6 small tools do not lock open. They are slip joint with with stiff springs holding them open. I have two. One is all stainless like the one for sale here. The handles on the other have a transparent red rubbery plastic coating. I've seen them with blue handle covering. They've just been odd knives in my collection. If I wasn't carrying a SAK with scissors then replacing the small knife in my watch pocket with a Micra would be logical.
