MAM knives

I started looking for a simple single blade pocketknife and ran across the MAM brand knives. I have several of the Victorinox florist knives that have one sheep foot blade but I was curious if someone made something a little smaller. I ordered one that's 3'' in a sheepsfoot style. Anyone else seen these knives or own one? I'm trying to keep my expectations kind of medium for now.

No picture(s), then you're relying on guesswork.

I actually just ordered one yesterday. A sheepsfoot ring lock with beechwood. I picked up a Jose Da Cruz in a trade, and it's a great knife. It's another ringlock, so it seems I'm starting something here.... ::paranoid::

Do either of these two knives come close to what you're talking about or looking for?
JAMESON.
It measures 6 1/4" total length.

VICTORINOX.
It measures 4" closed and 6 3/8" open.

Is this the one you ordered? I’ve been looking at them, I have a couple Opinel knives and these look like a good alternative to them with some different blade profiles.

The one I ordered is 3'' and doesn't have the leather strap. Just a plain one to test the waters ha ha. For the money if they're any good I could see me getting a few more.

Just curious here. The blue/grey handled Jameson. Isn't that a cable splicing knife? I had one like it marked "R-20" that I thought might have been a Remington but that would have made it 1940 or earlier. It came with a pretty substantial leather sheath. J.O'.

You're right It is a cable /telecom knife used by phone technicians. It comes as a set in a leather sheath with a pair of scissors, I use mine for removing case backs on pocket watches Another one of my weaknesses.

I got this one in the mail yesterday. It's smaller than I imagined, though it's exactly as was measured and described by the seller. Its super light. I could easily carry it on my key chain if I drill it a lanyard hole. It doesn't have a ringlock, so I wish the blade was tighter. That'll be an easy enough fix though. Haven't used it or sharpened it yet. For $11 dollars it's worth it to me to have an inexpensive knife not made in China.

Good looker! I agree on not having a China knife if possible. Is the handle completely round?

It is. Like a little broom handle. Dare I say.... cute? ::facepalm::

If you want a sense for the brand it wouldn't hurt to pay a couple bucks more for a larger one. I like little knives but this feels elven.

I got my MAM knife today. For the price I guess it was an alright purchase. 3'' is too small to be practical for much but it is well made. I like it good enough to look at another one in a different size/style. It's not an OPINEL but it doesn't claim to be.
