All About Pocket Knives

I picked up this knife at a flea market this past weekend, and the seller didn't know anything about it. After uploading some pics to ChatGPT, it seems to think it is a Zwilling JA Henkels fixed blade and sheath. It was sure of the sheath, but didn't seem as sure about the knife. Google Gemini seems to think the knife is made by Schrade. All that I know for sure is that the blade is etched with "Solingen Stainless". I'd really appreciate any additional details or positive identification. By the way, there is no tang stamp or markings anywhere else on the knife. Thanks!

Its sheath is marked with J. A. Henckles twins indicating German manufacture. It is shaped like a common J. A. Henckles pattern and the blade is marked Solingen Germany where J. A. Henckles made knives. It is odd that it is not stamped J. A. Henckles and I do not recall that kind of plastic on J. A. Henckels handles. My guess is that it is a less expensive brand that some how wound up in a J. A. Henckels sheath. Perhaps that was intentional deception to sell it for more than it is worth.

You mention AI searches but I wonder how many don't know that Google lens is also a great tool for finding "artifacts and evidence".
Basically drag a photo or copy a photo link to Google images and let it scan for similar images on the net.

I did that for yours and it came up with a bunch of similar models, puma, Sarasota, Schrade and more... a lot look to be stag but I didn't take time to look at them all, still in case it's helpful or just fun, go at it!

goto Google images and click the Google lens icon.
you can just right click and copy images from posts and paste them to Google.

If the knife is not marked as Henckels I’d be surprised if it is. JMO. Looks like a good knife though.
