Case Stockman for a customer

I just finished this 1971 Case stockman for a customer. It had been his father's knife, and with the spey blade missing and some chips out of the pile-side handle.
I had an identical Case for parts that only had the spey blade and the mark-side handle.
While disassembling the knife I broke the mark-side handle. After consulting with the customer, I replaced that front handle (at no charge), then made the rest of the repairs. Not the prettiest handle patch I've done. The color came out pretty good, but it would not polish and kept a rough exterior.

That's a nice save...it's tough to work on ones like that. The customer should be pleased!

I agree nice save. That knife was in rough shape. You gave it new life. Certainly, a great keepsake.
