Fit and finish looks good and the research I did it seems to be a pretty decent manufacturer

I am familiar with that makers knives, gino. and any others I've seen seem to be of high quality. Your lovely new knife has a definite Seki, Japan "look" to it. When Mark and/or Tony view it they will likely have more info for you.

Gino, that is a beautiful knife! I do not have any Kanetsune knives yet. looks like you have researched it, but I will offer a little info for future forum research, from their website Kanetsuneusa.com.
