Missing bone replacement?

I found this old Remington bone handled Boy Scout knife at a garage sale this summer. It is missing, if I get this correct, the pile side scale. Does anyone have an a recommendation on how to get this repaired, who to send to? I have repaired broken sections of bone on some other old knives, but never the entire scale. I believe this to be a somewhat valuable knife and would like it done properly just so it’s workable again and keep for my collection.

There are several members here who replace handle covers. Go to the knife repair and restoration forum here
https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... m.php?f=37 Look through the posts, find someone (or three) whose work you like, and send them a PM to start discussion of replacing the covers on your knife.

Thank you! I should have searched for such a thread myself. My apologies.

No apology necessary. There’s lots of stuff here - takes a while to find it all! Been here nearly 11 years myself and I’m still finding new stuff.
