This knife is 3" closed, a pattern I have never seen before in Eye Brand. Anyone have any info on this pattern? And any ideas as to the languages represented on the handles?

Most unusual knife, interesting find. No clue about the languages but it does look like at least four or five different alphabets (including the pile side tang stamp). ::shrug::

Carl Schlieper did have a market for their cutlery in Maylasia. Not sure which particular patterns were involved but I do have some prints of old marketing material mentioning Maylasia. The subject knife pattern was produced through the 1980’s with mainly German and/or English in the inscriptions. This example is very unusual and not common at all. Nice find.
