All About Pocket Knives

Have been collecting about a year and a half,all kinds of brands and patterns.Stockman and
unusual patterns my favorite.Have been working on rescaling a stockman with deer stag
and have one side finished,do i need to seal or put any kind of coating on this?This is my first
try at this,of course you can guess what happened the prettiest piece of stag i messed up.
But the piece i have on now is ok.

with stag it is best to buff the material after installtion after the final hand sanding operation. If you don't have a buffer rub it down with steel wool after the final sanding and rub in either A. formby's ;emon oil treatment (avail at lowes) or B. boiled linseed oil. The lemon oil is thinner and will penetrate deeper than the linseed but both give a nice shine! Be sure to show us your efforts!
