Hollingsworth Kane PA parts find

While visiting a friend in Kane PA "an historic knife town" of course the discussion came around to my favorite subject, KNIVES. He took me to a home of an older woman who showed me these amazing parts. Look closely at the pics. I tried to group them accordingly and gave the length. One page the blades are stamped. The others are not but assuredly from the Hollingsworth plant. The scales have brass liners and bolsters. They are jigged wood. Nothing has been finished. My hands shook as I looked at this group. She found them tucked away in the basement This is one of those great treasure hunting event I'll never forget. I knew this group would love to own a piece of history. It just shows you that great finds are still out there. I did an article for Knife World years ago called Raising Kane. I wish I'd had these back then and stories the woman told me. I doubt you'll ever find anything like this again
