Hi all,

Sorry I have not been posting much. I got a 60W Fiber Laser in December and have been deep in the rabbit hole trying to figure it out and apply it to knife making. So far I can do my makers mark, crescent and matchstrike nail nicks, relieve liners, engraved liners, 3d sculpted liners, thread bolsters, embellish bolsters, and do some color on stainless steel.

Here is the first knife I've completed with some of the laser effects along with some other examples.
check out my instagram https://www.instagram.com/ash.handmade.knives/ for more.

Dogleg pattern in 1095 and imitation tortoise shell. Laser effects include matchstrike nail nick from a scan of an old Remington catalog, threading/embellishment on bolster, relieving the liner and engraving the liner.

as always check my instagram for all the experimentation ongoing.
