Case Peanut?

Post by Collector123 »

Hello,

Recently got into collecting. Purchased this off eBay. I researched to see when it was created and noticed the tang stamp doesn’t match anything I can find. It most resembles early 1990’s tang stamp but it doesn’t have the lighting S. Any guidance is appreciated!

You correctly dated it to 1990 - 1993. The lightening bolt S in the example of a 1990 - 1993 tang stamp in our research section indicates stainless steel blades. The standard S on your Peanut indicates CV carbon steel blades. Nice Nut.
