A pair of Camillus 23s rehandled by Herb

Some masterful work by Herb (herbva), who recently rehandled these two 23s for me. The first is in kingwood, the second is bone which I believe he said he got from Culpepper. I'm sure he'll be along to answer any questions about his work on these, so feel free to ask away. Meanwhile, I'm just enjoying the hell outa looking at them.

Thanks for looking,

Chris J.

Thanks guys! I was doing some searches on kingwood's "purple" color and found a thread about it on Bladeforums. It was noted there that newly cut kingwood will darken with time and exposure to light back to its original pre-cut/sanding appearance, and will appear less purple. That's fine with me.
