Prayer Request

A close family friend is slowly dying of pancreatic cancer. She was subjected to so much chemo that all her bones are gravely weakened. In a few weeks she will be taking a final cruise accompanied by my sister and some of her family. Of concern to me is that she has little, if any, remaining natural immunity yet will be with a couple of thousand fellow passengers. Nasty bacteria and viruses are not unknown on cruise ships.

This lady has been very charitable and generous in her life towards others but is not a Christian and apparently has little spiritual experience.

Kindly pray that she becomes open to the graces Our Lord may provide her. Thank you.

Christian or not, she deserves our prayers. God commands us to show compassion to those who don't, or won't believe.

It's not a request...

I've seen a lot of endings in my life, and a lot of life. Ive seen friends talk about faith and their eyes light up. Ive seen good friends that were good people die and express their faith at the ending of their life. Death is so much a part of life. Ill pray for her.

I am reserved to say this but I have a special friend that was born and raised in Alaska. He is old like me. A knife maker like me, He has always told me, if he is terminal ..he's going back home and cut a switch and slap a grizzly bear on his butt. Im crying now.

Prayers sent my friend.

Praying for her salvation.

When all is said and done, what else matters?

Praying your friend will be receptive to the gospel, maybe the Lord provide her with a special messenger on the cruise she can relate to. ::pray::

Hopefully she will be able have some fun on the cruise with family and friends, with what's she's had going on l wouldn't worry about the diseases that she could contact on the ship.
I'll pray that she finds hope in the lord Jesus. ::pray::

"Father, we know you can heal all illnesses, but it is not given to man to live forever. I pray Garry's friend would come to know you and the salvation of your son, Jesus.
Open her eyes to see what is truth and open her ears to hear your voice.
I ask in Jesus' name,
Amen
