All About Pocket Knives

Picked up this Gerber Mark II this morning at an antique show. I found one chart on line that (I think) indicates a production year of 1980.

Can anyone verify that age, and also approximate value?

My best Google-foo produced the same as you Steve and I’m sure in your searches you found this table: In terms of value, sold eBay listings for similar condition and era including the sheath were between $300-$450 which is amazing considering they made 10,493 in 1980! Nice pickup Steve!

Thanks Tom, yes I did find that chart. I never knew much about this particular Gerber knife, but the history on it is interesting. I took a chance buying it for 175.
