Today my brother shared pictures about a knife he found in a Tin of nuts and bolts while clearing out my parents home.

Found this Imperial UsA knife (key change)!

His text-
“Found among the tins filled with old screws and nuts and bolts. Locks open and closed. Push the button if unlocked and the blade flips out. Nice size little knife . Imperial USA. 1950’s.  P2170537-2281782“

I search this site and found no information.

Wanted to share with hopes to learn more. I know Imperial did produce knives for drug stores and hardware stores. Also advertising pieces. Calling with novelty models.

So any insight will be appreciated.

Thank you.

LoopCutter that's an impressive find, especially since it's got the original pouch too! Looks like it went right from the store to the tin LOL! That knife was marketed by Imperial as the Jack-O-Matic Junior as part of their Jackmaster line. Sold during the 1950's, possibly late 40's too. If you google "imperial jack 0 matic junior" you should be able to find some additional info.
