All About Pocket Knives

Hello all, I am new to collecting pocket knives but not so new at owning them. I recently acquired this Standard Toothpick and after a lot of web searching I can’t pinpoint a date of manufacture or find many like it. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

There are also plenty of repro Standard Knife Co knives out there. Posting a photo or several is the only way we could tell if yours is original or a modern Copy.

I’m new to the standard knifes myself. Have 2 I am lost on information on and was curious if anyone could help. 1 is stamped standard knife company USA. And the others standard knive company little valley NY. Thanks for looking.

Here's Three Standards that I have.
Nice knives.

Both are modern knives not original. Stamps , grinds and nail nicks are the give aways .

Agreed - not original. Whittler appears to have started as a Queen #48 whittler. Stockman is Bulldog/Olbertz.

The "early hunter pattern" appeals to me a lot.
The spear blade is very special, I agree.

Both are counterfeits, therefore their only value if any, is what they're worth as EDC users. Best value is as a teaching experience. It has happened to most of us.
