I ordered a knife from them a couple of months ago, they were having a sale, ::hmm:: so, I was happy with the price and fast shipping. I had no problems whatsoever.

I’ve ordered from them a couple times and I was happy with all aspects of the transactions.

I think they do a lot of drop shipping because my orders did not ship from Chicago.

I've noticed a lot of knife dealers located all across the US, but my orders always had a Marion, VA return address. That's the town where Blue Ridge Knives, a major distributor is located.

I strongly strongly suspect there's a lot of knife sellers who have arrangements to list the items, but the inventory and shipping is handled by Blue Ridge. I've noticed that Chicago Knife Works does a lot of "clearance" type stuff with parts from closed knife companies. Also, of note, is that they have a bunch of Bear and Son-made knives made for the now-closed Hard Hat Knives dirt cheap.

I have used CKW on several occasions. I have always been satisfied with their customer service but have returned a couple of sub-par knives. They handle returns quickly and efficiently.

I’ve done business with them, and Have had good results. A little tip. Sometimes their customer service people don’t pick up on the first call…
But, I called the “corporate” number, and got the owner on the phone, first ring. My issues were immediately resolved, and he discounted me 10% for my troubles.
They occasionally have sales, over the usual holidays, where they do deep discounts on highend items. Only retailer that I know of that discount American Tomahawk Company products….
