Message states use .jpg file

I’ve always saved my photos to my iPad and then when posted I simply chose each one I wanted and added each in the order I deemed most appropriate. The files I assume were always .jpeg, as I have had knives for sale posted for several months.
Now I have new items to post and when I do post and have my entire ad completed, then hit submit, I get this message. I can’t post anything, as there are no photos accepted, yet JPG and JPEG are alike.
Can anyone help?
Kind thanks, Gary

Are you certain your photos are being saved as JPEG? Apple has to prove to us that they know waaaaaay better than the rest of us what we want in a computer on a regular basis. I'd bet they're saving your photos in some other format.

Hi Gary,
Can you try posting a picture here on the forum to see if it works? ...and/or... could you send me one via email so I can check it out? (
[email protected])
Many Thanks,
Bryan

Yes here is one. Thanks in advance as I am pretty confused how to correct this? I did try converting JPEG to JPG but it still came through as JPEG.

Hi Gary,
Can you try listing an Item now and see if the problem persists? The interface will be slightly different, but should work.
Please let me know if not.
Thanks,
Bryan

Bryan you are amazing!! I just posted one from my photo library, looks okay I believe.
Apple had 2 updates since I last posted anything. They use HEIC or JPEG file format. I did try online conversion tools but once I downloaded and saved, the file reverted to JPEG. TOO much trouble!
I found out I can post an item and if I use the “take photo” option, it will post as a JPG file.
But I am pleased with this method as I’ve already established the library to draw from and most important I can refer to the library if someone has questions or comments!
Thank you again Bryan! 1st class help!
Gary

Looks like the email address you tried is missing the "r" in Bryan.
Glad Bryan was able to fix you up anyway,. He's indeed amazing!
