I don't think so, John, I believe the poster simply wishes to view anyone's 100 year old knives. I thought what you thought, too, but when I re-read it, it made more sense how I stated. I could be completely wrong, too.

I’m not opposed to a new thread but you can find a lot of what you’re seeking in this “Old and Obscure Brands” thread: viewtopic.php?t=21642. Some there are from members who are no longer active, so you won’t catch those in a new thread.
