Remington tipped bolster whittler

I bought this little Remington whittler yesterday at a flea market.
The guy showed it to me saying it was glued to a display panel. Pile side.
It had repair issues; bad repair issues. It was $10.
I don't know what someone used to fill the void in the covers. ::facepalm::
It's a packer now. ::nod::
R6803, 3 3/8", 1924-1933.

There's something about those little tipped bolsters that speaks to me. Nice find!

That's a nice one Joe. Fix up that missing handle material with AcraGlas.

Thanks OLDE CUTLER, I had some squirreled away.
I hope the other filler comes out fairly easy.

Thanks Ken, I'm pretty happy with it.
At some point I'll try to get the old filler out of the covers and get some colored Acraglas in it's place.

Well, I don't know how much I advanced this thing.
It's a learning experience.
I let the brown? acraglas get too set up but otherwise it was too runny.
