Remington barlow??

I am still new here and I hope I am doing this right. I have a question about a Remington barlow I have never seen, and cannot find an example of or info about. Apparently, the blades are made of sterling silver. I was guessing it is some sort of fruit knife, but wondered if someone may have just been hoarding silver for some reason. Thank you in advance for any help.

Remington frame but not Remington blades. If they are Sterling Silver, I would not sharpen them. 😉 Useful for cutting Mandarin skins I bet. 🤭

Yes, I was pretty sure they were not original to the knife. I really appreciate the input! Amazingly, the bidding has gotten up to $80 already. I do not know enough about knives yet for me to even think about taking a chance on something like this. Thank you again for your reply. I am new to this forum and excited to start learning more about all of these knives I've been collecting or drooling over for so many years, lol
