Are the 67 and 68 pattern knives are same except the 67 has a spey and the 68 a punch? If so, what does that make a 60s/70s tang stamped 68 with lined bolsters, delrin scales, and a spey blade? I sure hope its a great user!

The 66 and 67 have the Spey and the 68 the punch. All 3 have the same frame and are 3 and 7/8 inches long closed . They did drop the punch and add a Spey to the 68 at some time but not sure when . You could look thru all the catalogs on the Camillus collectors r us website and that may give you a better answer .
That knife in the pic,is that a long line 68 ?
It ought be a great EDC .

Thank you for the info, I was wondering. Yes, its a long line 68 and it will definitely make a great EDC! Its my 1st non-military Camillus.

So is my example here with black composition handles and long line tang stamp a 66 or a 67 then? Although it has been abused by bad sharpening before I got it. I still use it as an EDC.

Great Question . The 66 in some catalogs has the white grain handles and the 67 has cabone ( Camillus fake bone ) handles .
So would think you have a 67 there OC . Could be entirely wrong though.

Not all long line stamps had a pattern number on the pile side! Same with some of the short line stamp . Don’t know why . Save money perhaps.

No number stamped on the back of the blades.
