All About Pocket Knives

I have a nice stag Knife of unknown origin. I'm posting it in this forum in hopes that someone might have some information about it, it's maker or it's history.

Note: It's been in our family as long as I can remember and I'm 54, so I'm also unsure of it's age.

Was anyone in your family with the initials “GW”? Likely not telling anything you don’t already know. Hand/home made knife. Appears to be the second one the person made. Beginning makers often use electric pencil engraver to mark their knives. Appears to be a well made knife with attractive handle. Hope someone can help with the id. Might mention the State the knife came from if you know. That can help

Handmade knife, looks like Sambar Stag handle, and a handmade sheath.
I have no idea of the maker, but he did well if that was only his second knife!
