Hey , a little out of my wheelhouse on this fixed blade M3 . Bought it on a BIN on eBay at a very good price so thought it might be a reproduction. Now that I’ve looked it over and wiped off the dust and gunk am thinking it’s the real deal ! It looks to be original factory edge and to have been used very little. The seller bought it from an estate of a veteran and that’s all he knows about it .
The blade is 6 and 3/4 inches long. End of pommel has the flaming bomb stamp and blade has the US M3 CAMILLUS stamp . Scabbard has US M8A1
and WP below that . M . H. Cole does show the M3 with the M8 A1 scabbard .
Appreciate it

Reproductions, both knife and scabbard.
The scabbard is a commercial version. WP, aka Western Plastics, never had a government contract.
The knife is probably a 1994 (or later) Camillus made reproduction - they show up in the 1994 and 1996 catalogs, but were sold will reproduction M6 leather scabbards..
