Can anyone give me any details on this knife? Can't find anything online about it.

Ok thanks, what do you think the value is? What is the reason for the miniature nickel in the handle?

I don't think that knife has anything to do with the actual Clauss Cutlery Co. I think they just put any old shields in those. Plus look at how oversize that shield cavity is compared to the actual shield. here's another with that etch. Not sure what the shield says, looks like "American" but not sure.

The shield definitely came off of another knife.
Examine all of the blades closely, both front and back. If it is an import knife (and it does look like a cheap import knife), then it should have the country of origin on it somewhere. Unless it has been buffed off of the knife, or something.
Having "American" and "handmade" in the name is a dead giveaway that they are trying to conceal the fact that it was made in another country.
I would value it at $10.

Class is German, for one thing, but the blades are etched differently. Does the shield on Eric's knife say, Imperial?
