T. M Enos knife question.

Found this in my brother’s things. T M Enos 1975 dated knife. 262 is on the opposite side. Not sure if that’s a serial or model number. Is this a personal defense knife or what? And idea on the value?

Here's some relative info about Tom Enos and some of his work. Not the same knife but should give you a ballpark idea of worth. In general a knife without handle covers is worth less than one with covers.

Maybe a throwing knife? (Remeni....remines....remiesc...like the older Cold Steel stuff)

Thanks for your response. I had the same thought. Of what knives of Enos I’ve found, none have been throwing knives. My wife was using it as a letter opener.
