Is This an Exotic Sort of Bone?

Guys and Gals,
I got this knife in a recent batch and it is a fine knife but I am lost about the handles. The handles have the harversian canals that JerryD taught me about but it sure doesn't look like cow bone to me. I tried to call Kershaw about this but they don't have a phone number listed on their site.
Any thoughts on this?

Ray, It looks to me like it's probably camel bone.

Camel bone is probably the best guess. This Arno Bernard is in giraffe bone.

Ray I believe that was dyed water buffalo bone. Early eighties.

Bingo! I found a copy of the Kershaw catalog from the 80s and this bone is from the White Water Buffalo.
