Here is my first full-length knife repair video!
I have about 10 videos started, but am still doing some editing until I am satisfied with them.
This one is terrible, but I am learning more about cameras, angles, and lighting. More to come!
Nice video. I looked all over for one several years ago but had to just go blind(except for all the good info I read on here about repairs). It’s nice to have visual aid to help along as a newbie. Keep up the videos!
I will not continually post my videos on here, but I will let you know that I redid the video Shorts and added background music. That means that many of the old links will not longer work.

Would you have time to put some new handles on a Mint shape 1976 queen barlow for me ??. Of corse I would send new bone scales with knife, & pay you acordingly.
I just came across this video and it answered a lot of questions I had. Thank you for making this. Would you mind sharing what belt sander you have & where you get your pin stock from? Also, how do I tell steel pins from nickel silver please?

I use a Harbor Freight 1x30" belt sander. They run around $50 dollars or so. I have two of them, just to have a backup. I did upgrade one with a larger, slower motor, but the original setup works pretty well. I recommend good quality belts on a cheap sander, if you are on a budget.
I buy pin stock from Jantz supply. They have a good selection at reasonable prices.
I use a magnet to separate the steel pins, as silver nickel does not stick to a magnet.
