Acquired this one a few months ago and keep hitting dead ends when it comes to ID'ing it as well as value. It measures about 2.5" closed and 4.25" open. Appreciate any help!

I appreciate it! Any guess on value in this condition even with the horrible photos? Also approximate age. Hard to tell what design that stamp is. Just to get an idea before I get it listed somewhere. Thanks again!

Looks like a double stamp from the factory. In this condition value is minimal.
Someone may pay more, but I wouldn't give over $20-25.

Answers for most questions regarding patterns, age identification, and other basics about Case pocket knives can be found in the “Research” section here on AAPK. Click on Research in the header up there ^^ at the top of this page. That will take you here
https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/ca ... t/research. Scroll down to the section on Case.
Values can often be found by an advanced search of eBay, for sold listings only, of the item. That will tell you what similar items are selling for recently. Adjust for condition accordingly. In this case your knife appears to be in fair to poor condition, which will lower its value significantly.
Welcome to AAPK.

That stamp looks like it can't decide if it's a Tested (1920-40) or XX era (1940-64)!

I can’t answer any of your questions unfortunately, but I am one of those people that love the factory mess ups. I have a couple knives that are double stamped. Beautiful bone on that as well. Great knife.

I appreciate everyone's replies! Got it in a box with some pocket watches and a few other knives(one being a Gerber auto which is pretty awesome) but this was the one I couldn't easily figure out. Which lead me to this site where I'd have found my answers if I did a bit more searching around the site first. Will be utilizing it frequently now as I've amassed a small pile of them throughout the years.
