Six Blade Sowbelly

I have had this knife for many years and can't remember ever seeing a six blade sowbelly Blades are stamped Axel Nilsson, Swedish Steel. I read somewhere it was made for J.M. Thompson Hdw. Minn., Minnesota. They someone said it was made in the US. Appears to be used very little with no blade sharpening. The celluloid handles are very stable with no shrinkage. All blades have a nice snap. I would imagine this one would bring a pretty good buck Any help or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks guys. jack.

Great Knife!!
I had one just like it. I believe that it was made by Utica, circa 1920's.

I've had 2 of them,definitely Utica made.

I think - not sure - that Jim Parker had some Sowbelly pattern knives made in Germany (Pit Bulls?) that had six blades.

I think you are right; I don't have my book with me, but I can the pictures of it in my mind....
