AKTI’s annual fundraiser auction starts tomorrow. Some great knives donated by corporate sponsors and members, including something for all pocketbook sizes.

Of interest to Case collectors are several knives customized by Master Cutler Mike Dubois, who is retiring this year after a 50 year career with W.R. Case & Sons. Mike is a first class guy who has run the Case prototype shop for years. Probably one of the last chances to get one of his customized knives. ::tu::

For any who are not familiar with AKTI, it’s the American Knife and Tool Institute. Here a sample of the many things they do:
Exciting Federal Knife News

We have exciting news to announce! AKTI has successfully advocated for the federal introduction of the Interstate Transport Act. The bill will be introduced when Congress returns from recess in September.

Sen. Ted Budd (R-NC) will lead on this legislation to protect knife owners when traveling across state lines with their knives, which AKTI initially started with the late Sen. Mike Enzie (R-WY).

Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) will remain the Democrat lead. We are eager to continue working with these Senators to secure passage in the Senate.

If you're part of an organization that would agree to sign on as a supporter of the Interstate Transport Act, please send an email stating that to [email protected].

About the Interstate Transport Act

AKTI began working with the late Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY) in 2013 on protecting traveling knife owners.

We Need Your Help!

Federal advocacy is very expensive. We need your financial support to get this bill into law. (Our members volunteer their time and always pay their own travel expenses for meetings.)

Please support us during AKTI's Free to Carry online fundraiser. The auction begins this Friday, August 2nd, at 9 a.m. Eastern. It will end Monday, August 5th, at 9 pm Eastern

Bid on custom, collectible, and limited edition knives, outdoor equipment, and a few surprise items.

Register now and check out the catalog.

Thank You!

Sincerely,

CJ Buck, AKTI President
CEO, Buck Knives

Thank you very much Ken,
I’m sure my wife will be thankful also. I keep saying I am not a knife collector only selling my dad’s collection for the siblings and I.
Until now maybe.
I saw more than a couple of knives that are very nice and money goes to a good cause.
I still like to hunt and fish. Can’t imagine not being able to carry a pocket knife.
Thank you very much
Steve
