My SMKW stickers. There are three of each sticker they sent. Shepherd of the Hills Cutlery catalog, utility knife my mother-in-law gave me, and the rectangle knife (not sure what it's called) and the Schrade. The rectangle one and the Schrade were in my father's possessions that I found after his passing. I do remember the Schrade in it's sheath in the glove compartment of my dad's pickup some years back. You can see there is plenty of tarnish on it. Sorry for the blurry ones.

If you like stickers you should try and hit Blade Show one year. Most of the bigger vendors have all sorts of fun stickers on their tables. Nice old Schrade too.

Thanks! I believe that's an Uncle Henry. I hope someone will confirm or correct me if not.

Uncle Henry was one of the U.S. Schrade Company's product lines. For a long time their Old Timers were not stainless steel but their Uncle Henerys were stainless. While your LB7 is stainless it was not part of the Uncle Henry line.

Most Schrade Old Timers made in China after the U.S. Schrade Company went bankrupt are stainless but that's another matter.

A little Braso or metal polish on a rag will easily clean up the brass on your LB7.

Isn't a Uncle Henry a LB-8 and is written in cursive.
An LB-7 has been in SS

Did y'all notice, maybe a serial number in the 8th picture? If it's a serial number then the knife maybe from a transition period, a numbered Uncle Henry frame with a Schrade + LB7 blade. I read that serial numbers were dropped after 1979.

That's a good question. Maybe WD-40 on a coarse rag like blue jeans fabric might take off most of the green without making scratches on the brass. A pencil eraser might be best. I encourage other members to post their tricks.

Rubbing alcohol will get rid of the vertigris, toothpaste on a rag will shine it up. Easy to do.

Nice haul, MG. That LB-7 is an Uncle Henry. The equivalent Old Timer is the 7OT The Uncle Henry has wood handles and the OT has synthetic.
