It’s D-Day + 80 years. What knives or relics from the war are your favorite?
Camillus engineers pocket knife (first bone handle knife I ever owned)

Nichols knife, made by Floyd Nichols of David City
NE to support the war effort. It was said he made one for every Service man in Polk County Ne.

I always wanted to know what it would be like wield one of those bad boys. Does it see any use anymore.

PAL RH-36
Original sheath & original playing cards for when there’s a lull in the action.

I gave this one to my son on his 8th birthday. He uses it whenever there’s a stick that needs whittlin’, or a sausage that needs slicing:

My bit of a gathering , Fairbairn Sykes a 2 model on far left, 3rd models. Western L 76 than Western L 77’s and far right Ariel Dagger. The L 76 is a tough knife to find.

Impressive! You are so right about that Western, RockingkJ!
And the KA-BAR is great. I had a Friend who had a steamer trunk full of them, all surplus. I did not have a chance at them.

Actually the knife and the patch were given to me by my wife’s family, so I’m just holding them till one of my children wants them.
