All About Pocket Knives

New to the knife world and loving the adventure. I recently picked up a small group of knives at an estate sale and I am having problems identifying one. My limited research so far says that this is a late 1920s Imperial tang stamp, but that is all I can find. The spine is strangly flat. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Nice find! That pattern is sometimes called a “reverse peanut” shape. It’s also called a “serpentine jack”, which is a more generic name for it. Nice example Dancritter! That's an old Imperial dogleg jack. You're correct in your dates, late 1920's for that stamp. I've also seen that pattern with the early IKCO in a diamond stamp (approx. 1916 to 1920's). The pattern was discontinued by the mid-30's so it's a nice old piece for sure!
