ID R7833

Can someone please help with this R7833 stamp. I will include pictures this is another knife out my father’s collection. For lack of better word, I would call the number on the tang an ink or a heat stamp not a normal tang stamp. The etching on the front. Does not match Sargent 6th edition. Sargent picture Remington trademark etching. Dad’s says master knife.
Knife is gorgeous. Just trying to figure out if it’s a different version or not.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Steve

Knife looks ok to me , it’s just Remingtons last tang stamp before they went out of business . Ink etched .

Thank you Mike. Maybe that explains the different master knife etching instead of Remington trademark on the blade?

The inked pattern number, master knife etch, and italicized tang stamp all indicate a mid to late 1930’s manufacturing date.

Thank you both for the information. I did not think too look at the Remington stamp I was focused on the other two. That would have helped me date it. I could not find any other examples that looked like that. Nothing in the books I have been looking at. But I have a couple of bankers boxes of books also.
Thanks again

Is the R7833 also being consigned through Donley?
